A female empowerment workshop as part of the GESALO Female Executive Roundtable – bringing together a dynamic group of female leaders from diverse sectors across the Kingdom and creating an inspiring platform for meaningful dialogue on how to leverage female talent for success. The mission: not only empower the current generation of female executives but also lay the foundation for fostering the next wave of women leaders across industries, proving that when women come together, they create powerful momentum for lasting change in business.

Challenge

Shifting the focus from comparing female and male traits to highlighting the unique strengths of female leadership. It's not about encouraging women to adopt traditionally "male" characteristics like assertiveness or confidence; instead, it’s about recognizing and celebrating the inherent power women bring to the table. This shift challenges the narrative and encourages women to lead as they are, not as they are expected to be.

Solution

In an inspiring and interactive workshop, we delved into the powerful dynamics of Female Empowerment and Leadership, exploring the key elements that propel women forward in leadership roles. With a focus on mentorship, visibility, work-life integration, and resilience, the event ignited powerful conversations around overcoming barriers and driving career advancement. Participants shared personal stories, discussed actionable strategies for breaking through glass ceilings, and left with a strengthened network and a renewed sense of purpose. A highlight of the session was the riveting exchange with one of the first female pilots in the Australian Air Force, who shared how the words "You can't do this" fueled her determination to succeed.
